I have a new old stock hydraulic valve in its original box and it has never been used. It is for a Farmall 400 and will fit any of thelarger hundred series row crop tractors or even 60 series tractors from what Im told. Any ideas on what its worth?

What kind of valve? Where does it go on the 400?

Its a hydraulic control valve that goes in to the bank of one or
two there identical valves under the hood and directly in front
of the dash. They sit on top of the hydraulic resivoir.

There are alot of different IH hydraulic segment valves that all look similar.

Some have selectors
some don't
at least three selector lengths
lever left
lever right
number 10 O-ring fitting
number 12 0-ring fitting
1/2" NPT fitting
two ports
four ports
draft control
detents with pop-back
no detents
and probably more configurations. No familiar with the valves on a 340 for instance.

Levers and selectors can be changed if you have a few extra valves. You should indicate IH part number. Chances are that whatever you have, it can be adapted to fit tractors from 1955 to 1962.
