Super C won t stay running

Tractor won t stay running, if I spray gas into carb it will run fine, has good vaccum, rebuilt head and carb. Want to make it right before I re-disassemble it for paint.

Sounds like the carb is not getting gas. I would start by pulling the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb. Let it flow for a few minutes, catch it so as yo make sure it is not full of rust/dirt/water. If little or no flow work your way back till you find the problem.

one little piece of dirt got past my cleaning and inspection, landed right in the main jet, Problem solved. Thanks Now I can disassemble it and paint it.
