I have tried to find a new bearing for the front axle but have had no luck. no number , no help is what I get.
Would anybody have a used one that they are will to part with?

If the center pivot bearing, it cab be made to order at a machine shop.
The parts numbers are found at caseih.com Navigating it is a little tough, but the numbers are there. (if that tractor is not listed, having one made should be in the $45 category. Jim

If you are talking the thrust bearing on the spindles you will have fun finding oneas that bearing is out of production. We got two from a warehouse in Calif but i dont remember who got them for us.

I have one good used one, maybe 2. would need to clean it up to make sure. Trouble is if I remember correct, you are in canada and the person I sent a gear for a SW6TA to that turned in to a hassel shipping.
Messicks shows the races as available, you would have to check for sure though. Probably can find the balls under another # or somewhere else. Upper race part # 59836D or 55414D $126.42. Lower race 55413D, $72.40. Balls D2615 or 1110C.

Either Messicks is wrong and they're unavailable or his local dealer sucks. My guess in this case is that Messicks is wrong. The races and the top bushing aren't listed as being available in a 2001 parts price book I have.

FP Smith shows having at least one new 55412 D (felt) washer and at least one new 55413 D retainer. Also, 16012R1 and 17012R1 balls new and used. 59836D doesn't show up when searching their site. 1-800-558-7228

1. I would try Weber Tractor works, he has many NOS parts available.
They aren't cheap, but if there is any out there, he probably has one.
He is in Illionois (815) 389-1493 or (618) 783-4102.

2. Bates Corp. in Indiana 800-248-2955, they have an extensive salvage operation and warehouse, and usually ship the same day.

3. Berkshires Implement Co. also in Indiana, 574-643-3115. I haven't been to his place in quite a few years, but he also has a large inventory of NOS parts.

The cheapest way would be to call a Napa auto parts store & see if they can cross the original part number over to one that is now available, problem is, it may take a few trips back & forth to get what you need, so take the new part out of the box carefully, you might need to return it the same day. It's not always the parts counterman's fault, these numbers have changed several times over the years, and the people publishing the cross reference catalogs want you to buy their brand of bearings, so what they state in the book will work, sometimes is just close enough not to quite fit or work. If you want the right stuff the first time, it is not going to be cheap, but going that route, you only have to make one trip.
