Is Mark Wood still around as an IHC vendor? I have purchased items from him before but have not been able to locate him lately. Anyone know if he is still working with antiques or if he is simply focusing on farming? Thanks!

Mark is a real mystery to several of us who have known him for several years through our IH and Farmall restoration activities and as a supplier of parts and services. He was not at this year's RPRU last month and I made several inquiries of his well being and why he has seemed to have fallen off the planet. People he was very close too in our IH group say he doesn't return ANY phone calls and seems to have just taken up other interests and endeavors. One vendor who knows him quite well says he won't even return his calls either and he thought he was tied up with a daughter building a house somewhere in Illinois. I believe he is a full time farmer and that is his main focus and he did the tractor restoration thing in the off-periods between planting and harvesting. Other then that no information was available from folks who have been quite involved with him in the past. I think we have entered into the "post Mark Wood era" it appears. If someone close to Gifford, Illinois would like to try and contact him in person I have his address there unless he has relocated elsewhere if that is any help and my email is open, Hal.

You would think SOMEBODY would have been in contact with him if he is still alive. I don't care how much you farm or how many houses you are building somebody could have heard from him.

The OEM style mufflers that WERE availible from him are going to be availible again. I'm working with someone to make this happen. I expect them to be availibile at the end of 2011 here @ C&G

I'll stop on my way to Baraboo and get one for my MD, one for my SMTA, and one for my WD-9.
