IH 350 Diesel Price?

I've been offered a IH 350 Diesel with wide front end, fair tires, 3 point, good sheet metal. It hasn't run for seven years and sat out side. This is from an estate. What would be a fair price to offer? Thanks for any help, PK.
 
The 350 diesels are on the rare side, but not knowing the state of the engine, tranny, hydraulics, I wouldn't offer much more than scrap value. The engine due to its rarity can be pricy to fix if it needs work. Are you looking for a fixer upper? Willing to part it out if it has major problems?
 
Is the motor froze up? You said it sat outside at least 7 years. I would check into it!
I wouldn't put it over $1000. I put it close to $1000 because of high scrap and ease of parting it out if it is beyond reasonable repair.
 
I just got one and paid $800 and that may have been to much lol! The motor is going to cost me alot.Mine sounds the same as yours but with a narrow front good luck!
 
If the wide front is original for a farmall 350 and in good shape. Wide front could be worth around what other posters have said tractor is worth so far. Or is it a international 350 utility?
 
I'll try to post a picture so you can see the out ward condition. This was the old guy's main tractor and was running OK when parked. His son said it would blubber some unless under load. My intention is to make a working tractor out of it. PK

That doesn't look too bad for sitting out for 7 years... Certainly looks better than the C you pictured in that other thread.

I think it's worth a chance at $1000. The question is, does the deceased's family think they've got a golden shoebox, or do they want to get things gone?

Definitely do NOT use the word "rare" around them.
