There were various options for the Farmall 240 and IH 240U. There may be some parts and pieces that fit other tractors, like the 230 and [u:b10c073447]possibly[/u:b10c073447] the 340 series (don't have a 340 parts book), and in some cases the entire unit from a Farmall may fit a 240U.
I did not cross-reference all the parts in the book because that would take about a week, but it appears to be as I indicated.
Don't know about the fenders, but probably fit a 340, and maybe some later series, like the 404 or 504.

the 240 farmall is based on the c/super c. fenders should fit any of the 6 sided axles. they only look right on the 240 and 404, don't recall what the 230 fenders were.
the fast hitch on a 230 and 240 is the same.

I believe the 340 and the 504 used square axles so are not the same. Whereas the 404 was just the next model after the 240.
