100 hyd update

well I called my local IH dealer and he really tried to help but everything we looked up was a different number or in a bundle package and then wasn't avalable anymore. So he thinks he got me the shaft seal part number 353183R91 $10.00
he thinks its the right part. I measured my oil seal I took out ID .625", OD 1.125" x .37" THK
the local bearing house will have a seal number 6925 to me by tomorrow just incase its .625" x 1.124" x .375" between the 2 I should have the seal. I was able to get the o-rings to seal the manifold to the metal hoses. I mean if the seal seals good what else should I replace if anything? the inside oval o-ring is good to seal the halfs so I should be good right?
thanks for the help. I am diffentaly jealous of you guys that have great expereinces finding your parts on-line and at the local dealer. everytime I go there it is about a 90% chance I don't get my part in the first trip.

Be very careful ordering parts from Case/IH.
I had part no.s and ordered parts for a 55W baler.
I figured no more than $100 worth of parts. When they came the bill was $375. One part was a seal, they sent the wrong part. I got one a NAPA for 1/2 of what Case/IH wanted.

after many trips to town and coming home empty handed or worse going back to return the wrong part, I've learned that bringing the old part along greatly improves my odds of finding what I need :)

hope it all works for you.

I agree with Tom. NAPA sold me a head gasket for my Cub = Same brand and about 1/2 price. from what Case IH told me.

You can always ask what the price is. Seals and bearings are usually 33-50% higher at CaseIH. In the 11 years I have been ordering from them I have only received one wrong part. As to being careful, you just have to know what you are doing. The local dealer does not set the prices, they may have some flexibility, but not much. I'm just glad to get the parts.

Don't forget the gasket between the pump and the block, and if the shaft on the pump has a groove from where the seal rides you will need a speedi-sleeve, otherwise the new seal will fail.
