ASAP: broken front axle IH 574

I broke the front axle on my international, I can't get the center axle pivot pin out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Btw, my girlfriend is typing this...I'm at the barn trying to get this pin OUT!

Weld a nut on it and use a BIG slide hammer.

Not familiar with this unit, but is there a pin or bolt that keeps the pivot from working out during use?? May have to find where it is & remove it to get the pin out.

Thanks for all your help. It took me 4 nights but i finally got the pin out. I had to use 2 12 ton bottle jacks and make a reverse press to remove it. When i was jacking it i wish i had bought 2 20 ton jacks instead. I wasnt sure what was going to give first.

Jim, I'm having the same problem. Tried a puller with all thread no luck. Do you have any pics of your puller? And how did you get bottle jack to work on there side? Thanks Dave!
