H belly pump delete cover

I have advertised a few places, unsuccessfully, for an H belly pump opening cover used when there is no pump. Anyone know of one in a parts yard somewhere?

It's been a while since I have seen the pump delete cover for an H but I think I have one in one of my sheds. I'll do some looking. My e-mail is open. charlie

(quoted from post at 04:16:25 07/20/11) It's just a piece of sheet metal. Easy to build.

It is not just a piece of sheet metal. The original cover is made of cast iron and is maybe 3/8" thick or even thicker.

It is my opinion that either the belly pump or the delete cover needs to be in place to maintain the structural integrity and strength of the clutch housing.

You can also ask for the Stage 2 Super H cover. Get the part number and enter it in Wengers web site.

There were two types of delete plates offered for the H that I have seen. One is the plate we are all familiar with, that is flat for its entire length, and the other plate actually has the drop section with the hole through it just like the pump so you could still attach certain implements to the tractor. I have only ever seen one of these and it belongs to my brother. Here it is on his 1942 H.
