My 1946 H with magneto started very easily, and ran well for as long as I was using it. However, it would not start for a few hours after I shut it off once it was warmed up. I was given the advice to replace the condenser. I bought a magneto tune up kit for it and replaced not only the condenser, but the points, rotor, and magneto distributor cap as well. It now starts well, even after its warmed up - original problem fixed. I now have a new problem. After it is warmed up, it idles very rough - almost like a miss. (It idles well before its warmed up though) It also runs well at higher RPMs. I set the points at .013, like the owners manual says, though the spacer that came with the kit is .020. Any ideas why it is idling rough now? Should the points be set at .020, or is there something else I should consider? Thanks.
