Our C had quite a puddle under it when we got to the farm yesterday, good thing I had some cardboard under it! Seems to be comin out of the left brake, how big a job is this to fix?

caseih.com Select the country, select search for parts at the top center of next page. Put Farmall in the box. Scroll to C tractor.
Select trans and differential.
Look at the diagram. Part #1 in the diagram is the seal, it comes out of the housing Without removing the housing (do not try to do so, it is a dramatically more involved process, including removing the drive gears!!)
Pull out the old seal using several sheet metal screws and slide hammer, or other means not including scratching the shaft or seal bore.
Put in the new seal to a depth to not ride in any groove made bu the old seal.
Use chassis grease on the back side of the new seal to assure it is lubed while starting its service life.
The cover and drum must be removed before access can be gained. Jim
