One way to get your H in and out of the garage

That's just retarded.

I remove the muffler off my H, and it fits in my garage fine. I just have to duck when I drive it in or out.

I've stored an a B, an H, and a 460 Utility in a 2 car garage.

The H I just took the muffler off before I entered the garage. On the B and 460U i have cut down mufflers so they fit without issue.

The previous owner of my Super C chose a different method. The exhaust opening in the hood is big enough for the large diameter of the muffler to fit through. It has a short exhaust pipe on the manifold so it mounts about six inches lower. It is not the way I would have done it but it is kind of handy since you do not need to remove the muffler to remove the hood.

When I was growing up the shed where the H's were parked had a hole about six inches deep at the doorway to allow the front wheels to drop down enough so the mufflers would clear.

We put an elbow on exhaust pipe and laid the muffler down just above the hood on a farmall B. Anyboy that would do this is not playing with a full deck.

It is a C not an H. But I agree that was not the smartest thing to do to the door way to that shed. The muffler looked brand new. I'd trimmed the muffler down or make the door way taller.
