Will a mw live pump off a w9 fit a farmall m? I
understand the w9 has one more bolt hole but
the other 3 look right. And is the gear the
same??

Actually the M&W pump can be used with either rotation. The difference in the pump structure is how the front seal drain port is routed. On the OEM pumps there is only one seal drain port so that has to be on the suction side. M&W built there pumps with a drain port to both the pressure and suction side of the pump. Each side has a check valve so in use the seal will drain only to the suction side.

If they will actually interchange I do not know. The one on My W9 certainly looks like it may fit an M and an MD but I'm not going to take it apart to find out for sure. At the very least I think you would need a different gear between the two different series tractors.

the bolt pattern is different.
but that can be altered.

If that is the case, the M&W pump [u:42412c75e6]could[/u:42412c75e6] be used as a hydraulic motor... cool!

Brad is that can you have the pump leaning on a new form of rust remover, Made USA? Hope you are doing well, WOpp
