Hello, My neibour gave me a small continental engine and I cant figure out what it used to drive. It is a very small four cylinder engine. It is smaller than the 123 ..cu.in engine. It is off of something IHC because it has a IHC mag. and IHC style IHC fan belt tightner, also the bell housing has a IHC stamp. The bell housing is a one piece casting that contains bevil gears. The output shaft has double B width pullies which are about 5 inches in diameter. It has no starter and I can turn it with a crank. No one around here knows what its from, I am guessing a very small combine or a baler. Can someone tell me. Thanks, ----Harold

It could be a U-60 a Cub engine power unit. Flathead design. Many were used on balers and small combines.

There is a small power unit that looks like a cub motor, but it is a continental. I think this what you have. What it was used on I am not sure.

Hi, Thank you very much gentlemen, you have answerd my question very well. It does not have a clutch, it has a grill, hood and gas tank similar to a small tractor. I imagin it is not very colectable . Thanks again.-------Harold
