Possibly looking for a set of cultivators for my H. my question is how easy is HM-238 cultivators to find? Those are the model number listed on my grandpas bill of sale for the 1949 H, a #8 plow and HM-238 cultivators.

I have the tractor (thanks to my family), I found a plow and now a set of cultivators possibly.

Any help, advice or pictures would be great.

Thanks

The two row style are often junked as being worthless these days. They do work, but take an hour or more to mount, and are modestly complex. A complete set can be found, They fit an H or M! but making sure all parts are there, and with good cylinders is important. I would advertise Here and in local papers. A parts schematic may be available on line caseih.com.
The rear wheel track assembly is important, as are the shields for early cultivation. Good luck, I spent many hundreds of hours staring down between the push arms and the gas tank watching plants go by. Jim

The HM-238's are the best cultivator and were sold mostly after WW II, before that the "steerable" (horrible IMHO) model 221's were the most popular.
