How to add remote hydraulic to Super C

How would I hook up a hydrulic outlet to run a one way cylinder on my Super C with Fast Hitch?? I bought a 120 Balanced Head Fast Hitch mower and need to be able to run the one way cylinder. Does anybody have a schematic that they could post?? Sure would be helpful..
Thanks, Cmore

The Super C implement manual shows replacing the fast hitch cylinder with a solid rod and moving the cylinder to the implement.

Probably not applicable with your mower. I think it's newer?

The only way I've seen it done was to put quick disconnects on both hydraulic lines and switching back and forth between fast hitch and implement.

I've never seen a SC w/FH that has a separate/independent remote.

There used to be a guy selling by pass blocks on Ebay. Bought one and it worked fine, I'll look at the C and get back to you.

I don't know what number the mower we had was, but it used the F-H to mount it and set the overall height and a rod from the touch control to raise/lower the bar. Is it possible to do that with the 120?

If you want fast hitch AND mower, you need two hydraulic valves.

Install a bypass block behind the factory fast hitch valve, and plumb in an OPEN CENTER one-way spool valve to run the mower.

I bought a bypass block off the guy on ebay. Looks well machined and comes with bolts, gaskets and mounting instructions. You'll need to get a 3-5 gmp open center valve as well. The guy that makes them is Pete, and his email is

tutusk at msn dot com

I don't remember what I paid for it.

What do you mean by "behind" the Fast Hitch control? Would you put the bypass block on the two lines that come from the pump, or on the outlet lines coming out of the fast hitch valve?
Thanks, Cmore

mkirsch,

I would love to do add a remote to my fast hitch SC, but the aftermarket bypass block I looked at wouldn't work. Do you have/know of one that will?

Pictures would be great!

Sandwiched between the touch control block and IH auxiliary control valve. If one is made to do that I'd like to have one.

The one I found would not work. It was designed to be added to a C/SC that did not have a factory auxiliary control valve.

I'd love to add the link from the Touch Control arms to raise and lower the cutter bar...but have NO idea where to get the parts...If I could see a picture, perhaps I could fabricate something that might work..Thanks, Cmore

I have an extra IH Auxillary Control Valve & the Special Manifold Lines I can sale if you need one. It was working fine when removed, and I just don't need it. It also comes with the control linkage. Let me know!
