On a Louisville Super M does the belt pulley engagement lever set above the clutch pedal or on the brake side of the tractor?
 
Intended IH way was on the brake pedal side up to and including tractor serial # L 504801. Higher serial numbers went on the clutch pedal side. Different boxes were installed or added over the years, so you may find different than above. Above serial 504801 also used a starter and choke pull rod in the same bracket above the clutch pedal on non diesel tractors whether or not is has a hydraulic tank under the gas tank. Should have battery box under seat also.
