Hi folks have a md that I have had for years and clutch must be bout shot can I change the disk without splitting it or will it have to be split did one on a h over twenty years ago forgot the steps old age I guess

Regular MD you can remove clutch disc and pressure plate from underneath. Super you can remove disc but not pressure plate but it isn't worth the trouble. Always think of a MD the boss traded in years ago. Former owner swore up and down he could not get the clutch out with out splitting the tractor about and inch or two. I said, oh yes, it comes out. Just so happened he did a lousy job on the clutch so I had to pull it out and he was filling in as parts man for us over the winter while regular was putting in his six months national guard active duty training. I called him out to the shop and said, here it is, no splitting necessary.

Pete23 any special things I will need?
been so long since I did one but think it should be pretty simple thanks for the quick responce

Go to TSC and get the IT manual if you are conserned. That covers the clutch ok.
About the only thing you need is a 9/16" (Maybe it was 5/8" Those are about the only sizes you use on these things  ) wrench/socket. You will also need bolts to put in the pressure plate to tighten up the fingers. DON"T FORGET TO LEAVE THEM IN UNTIL ALL 6 BOLTS ARE INSTALLED IN THE REINSTALLATION. That is about the only suprise/thing I learned from the IT manual.
