Farmall B Manifold

I m rebuilding my carb on my B. Is it a good time to replace the manifold with a new one? Sometimes the lil fart will vapor lock. Running 87 octane. New style any different? don't know if my manifold is fuel or gas or if there was even a choice. thanks guys.

Ive been around and using the Bs since 1947 all times of the year and many jobs and never heard of vapor lock. You mite need to clean the sediment bulbs inlet or something else that would cause a gas delivery problem. You have a problem someplace but not vaporlock.

Unless the old manifold has a hole in it or some other major problem there is no good reason to replace it since 95% of the new ones are not really all that good
