Farmall M Carb Rebuild

I just rebuilt the carburator on my M. I am pretty confident that I reassembled it correctly, but now it is not receiving any fuel from the gas line? I have gas all the way to the carb, but no further. I set the carb to base adjustments. Any thoughts? Thanks.

sometime the needle hangs up in the seat. give the carb a little tap on the bowl.

Sounds like needle is stuck down. Float may be hanging up on the inside of the carb housing. You can take it loose without removing carb and drop it down to see what is going on. Thee is a filter on the inlet to carb also. Have you tried to start tractor? I have had trouble getting fuel to fill sediment bowl even until you roll engine over, it seems to air lock.
