Farmall Cub Stopped

I was mowing today when I had to make a quick turn into a mound of dirt.I was running full throttle when this happened. The engine stalled immediately as the mower dug into the dirt. I disengaged the mower and tried to restart the cub but it backfired through the exhaust a few times so I pulled it down to the barn.

Does any of you guys have a clue what I did to it? I appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Ron

Bring No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke
then remove the cap and see where your rotor is pointing. If it's not at the No1 plug tower your timing is off. One other thing is to remove the cap and have someone crank over the engine and see if the rotor is turning. Hal

I agree with others. Its possible that you jumped timing. Its also possible that you may have broken something internally, But check the timing first and post the results
