Steering Bolster Wedge

A couple of weeks ago there was a discussion about which way the wedge should be installed. Narrow edge to the front for easier steering or to the rear for reduced wobble. Perhaps they can be used either way. But, for reference, I found mine and the word "FRONT" is cast into the narrow edge.

Same with the wedge I discovered on my Super H - it has "FRONT" cast on prominently on the narrow side.

Then why did I-H move the pedestal back 1 1/2 degrees for earier steering just dont make sense.
