My tired old 574 leaks hydraulic fluid from every gasket when it is at operating temperature. Does not leak when cold. Is there a vent that might be plugged, causing pressure to rise as it warms up? Seems like it would vent through the dip stick. How about an additive? I have checked all the nuts and fittings, nothing seems to be loose.

There should be a breather on the small inspection cover that is on the large rockshaft main cover.

Look in the online parts manual and you will see it on the Rockshaft cover. Don't know what else to tell you. It shows it as having one there. Would be under the seating area. I don't recall how much tin you would have to take off.

Under the seat, that is what I was asking. Would a clogged vent cause the seepage at all gaskets?
