I have a friend with a 1206 and the TA seems to be getting weak. Does anyone know if it will still work in high if it goes out? Many thanks, Sam

That is usually the way they fail. The low side is a mechanical clutch with hydraulic assist to keep the tractor from free wheeling down hill. If it has failed hydraulically then the high side will not work.

You usually have HI left....very rare to loose the HI side.
