1066 AC Allan in NE

Allan in NE I hope you can help me out again. I ended up putting a new sanden compressor on and I charged it with about a lb. Thats about all it would take. Turned it on and still nothing. No juice at low pressure switch no juice at high pressure switch juice going into the thermostat but no juice coming out and going to the high pressure switch. Condensor fans don't kick on either. This is a 1066 with the delux cab.
Thanks,
RH

When you were trying to fill, did you open the shut-off valve at the compressor hose fitting? The small square shank under the Alumimum cap?

You need to "tighten" it to open before you can fill.

The adapters for the sanden pump just have ports like a car, no valve to open. I know what you mean. I jumped the compressor clutch to a hot wire, but didn't see if it would take more.
Thanks,

jump across the thermostat and see if you get power to the switches. The contacts may be broke in the T-Stat. If you have power to the T-Stat and no power out, them i'd look at the T-stat.

When charging the system, put it on high cool and idle the engine up pretty good.

I generally charge them to hover close to the freezing temp on the guage set for the type of freon being used.

Thanks, So if I jump the juice going to the thermostat to the ones leaving It should temporarily work? If it is the switch.
Thanks,
RH

Okay, let's back up a minute.

You say there is no power at all feeding the low pressure switch?

With your test light chech to see if there is power at the blower switch and also power at the AC relay (Original color coding of these heavy wires were red).

These are the two feeds coming up from the cab connector down under the step.
