Super MD Fuel Filters

I bought both the aux. and final filters at the dealer a couple of months ago at the same time I got the tractor. While there, the parts guy told me some guys just run two final filters instead of the origional aux. filter.

Anyway, I currently have the pump and injectors being redone and when I took the filters out today I was surprised/sad to see the aux and final filters in the wrong spot. I also found out the steel top and bottom pieces for the aux filters are MIA.

So would it be ok to just get another final filter and run it with two final filters and forget about finding the plates to work with the aux. filter?

Thanks,
Dan

So far as I know the only problem you'll have with using two final filters is that the first one might clog up more quickly so you should change it more often. If you use the tractor a lot this might be an issue but if it's a toy then maybe you'll want to change it every ten years instead of twenty? Best of luck, Sam
