farmall H skip

my 1949 Farmall H has a noticable skip. we have gone through almost the whole tractor and cant find the skip. we want to pull with it but not with a skip. so what other things could i check for?

My Super H had that, a slight change in the timing eliminated it. You can rotate the distributer by hand with the engine running for max rpm. Some will say that is a No-No, but it works for me. Could also be many other things.

If you have a spare manifold try replacing it sometimes you get a internal crack in them and it will cause them to not run right.
