I have never been to a RPRU before Do they allways charge 10.00 to walk around? Most shows here in so mn are a few bucks for parking. Dave

I believe I was shocked at the price to get in when it was in Madison, WI. I thought it was $15??? I do remember I was suprised.
In the end it was well worth it. It was a HUGE show that topped any local show.
On the side, I went to the 2 cyl show in Waterloo, IA yesterday and was very disappointed. It was only $5 to get in and barely worth it. There were only a dozen swap vendors. The show tractors were very well restored and there were quite a few, but still not as many as RPRU. It is pretty much invitation only to come to that though. I heard a story about how a guy got to the show and they wouldn't let him come in because his tractor was painted pink. He said he did it for his wife, they didn't care!

I know a guy who has a pink JD tractor. He painted his in honor of a relative who had breast cancer. That's a noble cause. Maybe it's the same guy who couldn't get in to 2 Cyl Expo.

$25.00 for three days, there were implements there that will never see the light of day again. Rare tractors, crawlers and implements that should be in museums. Cheap gate fee.(How did the club pay for the fair grounds, trash pick up,bus rental) I wish it was all free but they put on a great show and I think everybody got their moneys worth. (And yes I got in free)

$10 is cheap and the show was fantastic. The weather could have been a little better but, you can"t control that.
Thanks to Chapter 15 and all who brought displays.
