F-30 Head Gasket

Has anyone on here ever used a head gasket for a F-30 from the Fordson House. I got one since Rice is out of stock, I prefer to deal with Gordon. It is made out of a fiber material with metal strands throughout. But there is no fire ring??? Just wondering if it will hold up or not, I already put it on. Thanks

I didn't get my F30 head gasket from Fordson House, but it has the gasket you describe. It's been on for the past 8 years with no problems whatsoever. IMHO, it's a much superior gasket compared to the NOS ones.

I have one in mine from the Fordson House, 3 years running high dome pistons and no problems. I use them for lots of stuff and everything has been top quality.

[thats the same gasket you get from Alderson. they run them on there big cube pullin tractors and have no prblems with them. i have three of them in my tractors and have had zero issues.

the piece of crap victors are a different story. throw those things in the trash

That is great to hear. I appreciate the reassurance. I have high altitude pistons also, I was just unsure. I've built 100+ engines just not with this style gasket with no fire ring. I wish I would of remember Alderson, good guys there. Thanks.
