farmall H cylinder #2

Not all that uncommon. Pull the valve cover and see if any of the valves look like they are way out of adjustment. Probably just a valve stem stuck in the guide.

Assuming you have a piston in that cylinder and it doesn't have a hole in it, there isn't much likelyhood that your compression would go to zero from ring breakage or wear. Your problem will be in the head. More than likely a valve stuck open. Hopefully that it is all that is wrong and you don't have any other damage. You might get lucky and be able to free it up without removing the head, but that is kind of wishful thinking. Good luck.

Put some 15w40w engine oil in #2 cyl. (2 table spoons or so)and do a compression check. If the compression comes up its the rings if it stays the same its the valves. With a hole in the piston you will hear it threw the oil filler neck.

Took the valve cover of, and a push rod came off the rocker arm. Put it all back, and 100 pds of oil pressure. Thanks to everyone.

Good deal. You should probably adjust the valves. I would guess there was too much slop allowing it to come off the rocker arm.
