What does a 6 cylinder motor out of a 205 combine compare to size wise and what might it fit in as far as tractors? Thank you

The 205 was newer than the 203, and made into the early 70's. Here is a picture I found on the web.

Just a comment that picture of the 205 is a combine I own and still use every year for 10 acres of wheat and 20 acres of oats. It is a 1972 model which was the last year built. It does have a 221 engine. I am located near Green Bay, WI. It was purchased from the original owner about 25 years ago. Al

Was the 205 replaced by the 315? I purchased a new 615 in the fall of '71 when the engine in my 303 died. Dealer had a 315 on the lot besides the 615 and the 315 looks very similiar to the 205. I really wanted a 715 at the time but couldn't find one and I had just begun cutting soybeans so needed a combine right away so took the 615. I don't know what happened to the 315 as it sat on the dealer's lot for awhile & disappeared & I have never seen another one in this area.

Soybeanjoe, Here are a couple of pictures someone sent me of a 315. I have never actually seen one but it is similar to a 205. I believe it has bigger grain tanks and a larger motor. Many parts interchange with the 205. Think it was only built a couple of years like 71 to 74. Maybe someone else can provide more information. Al
