Help ID my "new" tractor

mongo001

New User
Apparently I'm too new to post pics, so I'll provide info:

Ser. No. 10924 SJ
Engine Code C169
6V charging system
Narrow front
4 cyl gas
Distributor ignition (non-magneto)

After a week of trying, I got it running and drove it today. It still has issues, but appears to be pretty much functional.

Based on engine code alone, I'm guessing 300, based on some limited internet research.

I can provide more info and hopefully pics later.

Thanks.

Can't add links either. Hmmm...............

Cut and paste this:

Is this it?

You don't say if it's a Farmall or International Utility, but both have the C169 engine.

Added: Yup, Farmall 300. I spent many hours on a Farmall 350D, but never a 300.

It is a 300 Farmall. It looks Good. Sheet metal should be available at a salvage yard. Nice tractor. Jim

I think 300 also. This tractor is the closest thing I've seen online to what I have, when you compare engine and accessory details.

New user I think needs 5 or 6 posts. That is to help curtail spammers.

Here's what they look like after restoration:
1955 300 with T/A, early style fast hitch, three remotes, live hyd & pto, dual disc brakes.

Very nice!

Got a long way to go to get there, but today was a huge step forward. It runs and drives.

Now I need some space to work on it. A pole barn is going up where it was sitting, maybe next spring.

Then I can start tearing it down.

You are welcome, beleive me I had a LOT of help on this one, still took three months, but as you can see, it's still worth it.
