Who's all going?

I'll be up there by Friday. It would be fun to put some faces with the names.

I am shooting for Friday as well. I was just thinking out mowing if someone had started a thread about having a little get together. I will wait to see what some others write.

My plans were nipped in the bud by the oil companies. It is quite a haul from SE Michigan to Minnesota. Maybe next year. :(

I may be there working as a volunteer in the Farm America "booth". Farm America is the more common name for the Minnesota Agricultural Interpretative Center near Waseca about 40 miles north of Albert Lea. I "have heard" that the RPRU officials may have a bus tour to Farm America. If they do I may be helping with the tour at Farm America.

Farm America is trying to become more well known for it's mission of telling the history of agriculture to a wider audience. It is a 120 acre site with several subsites depicting different eras in primarily Minnesota agriculture, but it applies very much to agriculture in surroundings areas as well.
Check their website www.farmamerica.org

I'll be there all week and will be bring along my cut-a-way TA housing from a 806, I'm attaching a few pictures. See you all in Albert Lea.

Just dropped my tractor off yesterday (1941 h with slow-speed rearend and power loader in its work clothes) and there are a lot and i mean a lot of tractors on trailers running into town. Checked out the auction tractor sections. Many nice looking factory restored SMTAs, SM, 350, 560 diesel, BN, H wf, and many more i cant remember. Talked to the lady in charge of campers and she said they are expecting 30,000 to 40,000 people a day coming through! I dont know if there are enough parking spots in Albert Lea for all the vehicles! Sounds like the weather is supposed to be nice ( temps in the 70s and minimal rain chances as far as Ive heard). Gonna be a nice, nice show.

12 of us from our local club will be in on Wednesday night. We will have our Raffle Tractor and trailer there in the swap area. A restored 1941 Farmall "B". See attached picture.
