My first restored tractor!

Thought maybe you guys would like to see this. I restored this tractor in 2008 for my wedding. My wife and I along with our wedding party rode from the country church we belong to into town 3 miles on a loy boy hay trailer. The sound of the chrome turn out and the shiney new red paint beat a limo any day!

Very nice! In the not so distant future I see myself getting married to my girlfriend. And I'd love to have that as my limo. Some how I think she wouldn't approve. So I might have to reconsider the girlfriend. Haha

That looks real nice! That shop looks too clean, you need to restore another tractor, so you can get parts and tools scattered everywhere.

Did the same thing when I got married 2 years ago. Mentioned the idea to my then fiance about 2 weeks before hand and her only demand was it not to be a john deere lol. So we took the 1086 and had a ball! Nice looking restoration too that chrome pipe looks good on there.

Nice looking tractor. This is my first restored tractor. I went with the chrome pipe as well. I figured it'd never be 100% original since it's LP and its got parts from another H, Super H, 300 and a M on it.

Thanks for the compliaments guys! It really was a lot of fun. I have a 400 that needs a little attention, thats my next project. As for the shop being too clean, I should have taken a picture of it last winter! A 12 row planter torn apart with a feed truck and a payloader parked in front of it doesn't leave much room for old tractor projects!
