Sad times for me, I need advice as where is best place to sell my collection of tractors. Wont be able to keep them any longer. They need a new home and I need to sell. All except the W6 running good. Could you give any ideas?
Thanks

The absolute best you will do is to hire an auctioneer who is experienced in antique and classic farm tractors. He will know the value of your tractors, and will work to get top dollar.

I've been thinking about a W400D. My W400LP may not be a frugal way to run that tractor. I just refilled 3ea 33 pound forklift LP tanks. It cost me $115. The dealer wanted $147 until I complained. I can get Diesel for next to nothing by removing domestic heating oil tanks listed on Craigslist. In fact, in some cases, I can even get paid to take it, and the tank, away.

Where are you located and how about a picture? I am in Eastern Massachusetts.

I'm located in Manitoba Canada. The 400D and W400D are almost identical. I'll post some pics once I decide how to sell them. Maybe an auction?

I just remembered some of the pics are already on this site. If you go to tractor pics and search for Sven you can see them. I use to go by Sven a few years back.

Nice looking tractor. It's too far away though unless it's really cheap which is doubtful.

Mecum Auctions has a collector tractor in the spring and fall. They just started doing it. They are pretty much the Barret-Jackson of consignment tractor auctions. Rumor has it, they have been selling on B-J or they have their own show or something like that.

Talk to them. They may help you out if you bring them to their auction. Tractors like that sell VERY well here in Wisconsin because people don't have standard tractors here.
