I am in desperate need of some seal Part#'s for my 1940"M", I need the seal # for the shaft going into the transmission from the Clutch shaft, also need the seal# for the shaft seal coming out of the transmission that goes to the hydraulic pump,I am working out of town this week and called the dimensions I had into the bearing shop that I get my parts from but was told it is almost impossible to identify a seal byu the dimensions, I cannot get to the old ones to bring them into him as I said before I am working out of town, and the #'s were not legible, any help anyone could supply to me would be greatly appreciated
 
Ok, sorry I would have put this in my first one but they updated the website. The main shaft number should be 350329R91. and the lower one is the countershaft seal but I can't find the number for it. If you go to a case IH dealer they could get the seal or NAPA would. They could find the countershaft number or someone else on here might have it.
 
Transmission driving shaft seal (upper shaft) 350329R91 crosses to SKF 20702. Countershaft seal IH p/n I have is 50839D, for which you can use National 50839D or SKF 16117. Just check your IH numbers against mine before purchasing, as my tractor was produced several years later than yours.
 
ih is kinda hi on seals for this i priced em out because i need the same ones and a few more for those 2 seals and any gaskets needed to replace them and the pto gaskets and seals i think it was like 100$ maybe there just always high on seals and that but the place i go is usually pretty good price wise and sometimes cheaper than the internet plaaces
