W450DTA Standard

I've been searching to find out the production numbers for this
model. Can anyone advise me where to look ??

I don't know where to look, but I think you'd have better luck searching the web if you left out the TA since I don't think IH used that designation after the SMTA. I know they made tractors of that era with and without TAs but I think it was just a factory option and I don't believe they kept track of how many got a TA or not.

There were 66 I450's in gas, LPG, and diesel built in model year 1956, 1092 in all three fuels in model year 1957, and around 900-1000 (don't have exact number) built in model year 1958. Each fuel type was an option as was TA so these numbers are not seperated. Serial numbers 1956 501-567, 1957 568-1660, 1958 1661-2xxx.

the designation is just W450. they came with a T.A.

I can't add anything to the other replies but I do have a 1957 W450D w. TA that needs a full restoration. I just can't decide if it's worth it. Sam
