Hello. I was looking for some decals for my 1945 Farmall A. I have come across some the say Cultivison and some that just say A on them. I have also noticed that in 1945 the decals say Just McCormick and not McCormick-Deering. Please let me know which is correct or why the Culitivison and A. THANKS

If your tractor is a 1945 Farmall A, the decals should say McCormick Deering Farmall and should have the Cultivision A. If your A happens to be a industrial the decals should say International and the A is a plane A without cultivision. Check your serial number to be sure if it is a FAA Farmall or a IAA International.

The McCormick-Deering was not replaced by just McCormick until some time in 1949. I believe that the IH symbol appeared in front of the name in about 1944

International was there from the early 1900's, as when the company combined with several other companies in that time period it was called International Harvester. Has nothing to do with cultivision. Only the first few did not have cultivision above the A, unless it was an International as Harold said. As mentioned below the IH in front of McCormick Deering appeared in 1945, I believe, the Deering disappeared about mid 1949, so his tractor should read "IH McCormick Deering Farmall" with cultivision above the A.
