Farmall A Lift-All Part 5064 E

Hi,

I am seventeen years old and currently in the process of restoring a 1945 Farmall A with the Pneumatic Lift-All. The tractor runs great, but the lift hasn't been used in nearly 20+ years. I have replaced the leather seal and a few other assorted parts while rebuilding the control valve.

Does anyone have the valve which mounts on top of the manifold? The part number is 5064 E. I have looked through my usual routes, including a search of some salvage yards, and come up empty handed.

The valve originally on the tractor was usable before I began the restoration, but the two arches that attach the valve to the pin have broken off. There is not enough there to weld, but could an epoxy such as JB Weld hold the part together if I cannot find a replacement?

Thanks!

Ive been around these ssytems since 48 and still use repair and so forth. That part is no longet available from I-H last ones were sold a couple yrs ago. I did purchase some before that but have sold systems and parts also. Your best bet would be to make one. You could use brass or steel and even alum seems like many of the pressure valves you now find that part is just like yours. You mite braze some brass then machine it so the ears would be usable. I have some complete units and wont sell that part as the whole unit is sort of worthless without the valve. Someday im going to make one out of brass as i dont see any reason it wouldnt work even mite use al to make one. If there was enough demand theres a place that will cast them.
