I have a friend with an 886 open station without a T/A. In low range regardless of speed, the engine will stall. It moves and runs, but will stall. Not noticed in high range. It does not lug down...just dies. Thoughts??

If the bushing in the low range gear was stuck to the main shaft the tractor would pull in low range but stall in high range. If the reverse shaft bushings were seized they pull the engine down in both high and low range.
