White smoke

Went to an auction today with the idea of buying one of the 2 A's they had listed - turns out one was a super A. When they started the Super A a ton of white smoke came out and it never cleared for the few minutes it ran. I didn't buy the tractor but is that an antifreeze leak that causes that. The regular A was sending up black smoke. I decided I didn't want to stand in the rain to see what either one went for.

Gennerally to my experience white smoke always means the presence of water or antifreeze as the case may be, in the oil. The reasons for water in the oil would be craked head, cracked engine block, bad head gasket, or it has just been a very long time since the oil has been changed, and with humidity and condensation water has gotten into the oil.
