Farmall A/B fan trouble The answer

Well I have found out you can not remove the fan with out first removing the radiator due to the fact the fan shaft is to long to be able to clear the mount so yep I pulled the radiator off of it

Or you can take the bracket loose from the block

Howard, that would still mean draining the coolant and getting the upper water outlet off the head while working in tight quarters. Frankly, I'm not sure which way would be easier.

When Rich asked the question I had to think about it. I have had those things apart many times, but I couldn't remember ever taking a fan off without taking the radiator off first, so I just kept quiet.
