Farmall H pto seal

Can anyone tell me the seal# I need to get to replace the seal in a PTO I recently purchased to put into my H? I have meticulously cleaned it and cannot find any # or manufacturer name on it, any info would be greatly appreciated Not sure if I could maybe get one at the local napa or have to order it from some supply house

part number for the PTO housing seal is 13676. Original IH seal application was actually 2 seals, leather with steel case/spring. Replacement parts from IH were $30+. I installed 2 of the Napa seals (with a bit of grease between them) for $16 (each seal was $7.95).

This is for the later, larger PTO.

Mender, go to the Case IH site and confirm that the seal you need is part # 358812R91. Then on the Napa site see if it interchanges to part # NOS 13676, for $10.69.

I still cannot understand why people put two seals on the H PTO shaft and other places where the original seals were wider. I have installed many with a single seal and they have never leaked (especially if the lip is not lined up with the groove in the shaft). Today's seals are far superior to the old leather seals of that time. Roger

Roger, the only reason I did it was because the PTO shaft was fairly worn where the old seal was.......I only used single seals ont he brake shafts......
