F-12 radiator core

I might be in the market for a new radiator core. I've seen various prices. Rice is around $205...Fordson House is closer to $250. Anyone had experiance purchasing from either supplier? I've heard of some people having trouble with new cores being the wrong dimensions....too short.
What are your thoughts?

I bought one from Fordson House couple years ago for my F12. I thought it was not correct size at first but when I used cork casket for all the joints it fit perfect.

Yes, replcement cores are a problem. I went thru 2 cores on a restored F20 before I got one that would work because of incorrect demensions. (Talk about labor intensive). I am not sure whether it makes much difference where you get your new core, as the replacements are made in China (less tubes and more flimsy). You might explore the possibility of trying to find a good used one that has been tested. At least you would know fore sure that it would fit. Best of luck with your tractor.

You wont have any problems with Gordon Rice!! I recommended a buddy buy a core from him, it fit perfect. He may also have a NOS one, but when my buddy called he didnt at the time.
