I have a few IH plow shanks that I plan to clean up and paint. I know the originals came in flat black for the most part. This unit is not really for show. I do use it. I am thinking I will repaint with a basic flat black metal paint over a rust fixing primer and stay away from the filler primers and glossy finish. There are rust pits in the shanks. Any suggestions.
