My tractor engine dies out pretty easy pulling out without a load on it. I ve changed the plugs and adjusted the carb. Do you think it might be the points adjustment..Thanks

When you start to pull out and it starts to die try pulling out the choke a bit. If that helps it is probably a passageway in carb that is plugged. If not check points and also timing.

If the points were bad it wouldnt start. You said you adjusted the carb. Does yours have the adjustable power jet on the front pointing to the gen as that would be the only adjustment that would help.Open it up some more.
