My question is on the paper belt pulleys how do you restore the old paper? Is this something that can be purchased?

there is a company that will restore them for you. the paper is stacked, then pressed together with the ends of the pulley. what you see on the outside of the pulley is the edges of the stacked paper.

Just chuck it up and smooth it out. Don't forget about the crown. Clean and paint.

paper pulleys in tenn. they also balance the pulley when they redo it.
