Need F 12 brake shoes relined

I need to have the brake shoes for my F12 relined. Does anyone know where I can get this done? Or do I need to buy new or remanufactured shoes. Thanks for any info. Bill

Your local clutch/brake shop should be able to reline them at modest cost.

I had a set done (4 shoes) for a Minnie Mo U a couple years ago - price was less than $50.

Your local brake and clutch shop is your best bet to have them re-lined. Be sure to take a brake drum with your shoes so that they will not put on too thick a lining -- this way you can ask them to correct the lining if it is too thick. This happened to me and they relined my brake shoes for free.

I believe the gap at the top should be 0.75 inches. Double check the thickness of the actuator and tell them so that everything will work right when they are re-lined.

I dont recall the specific equipment it was on, but the linings on my 14 came from, gulp, John Deere. I had to do a little trimming, but seems like even the rivets lined up.
