1951 Farmall Cub - white demo?

Last week I purchased a 1951 Farmall Cub, serial no. 138961. The tractor is in good condition as far as sheet metal and running gear. It appears to have an undercoating of either white or light gray paint. I have not known of Farmall priming tractors with this color prior to final coat. Is it possible that this was a white demonstrator? Is there a way to research demonstrators from the serial numbers?

never mind- just checked the serial numbers and it wouldn't have been a 1950 white demo. However, does anyone know about the white undercoat, which does appear to be original?
