This is a short question i was wondering how tight to tighten the head bolts on a farmall h tractor Thanks for any help

No specific torque sequence. They call for "tightening from the center out" and nothing more. I did my MD in somewhat of a bullseye pattern (NOT center row then one outside then the other) I torqued mine in three phases. Hand snug, 75%, 90%, 100% Maybe it's wrong, but that is how I did it. Don't forget to get it hot and then retorque it. You wouldn't believe how much tighter it gets.

I would also suggest to keep going around until all the bolts hold 70 ft.lb. It may take two or three times to get them all evenly tight.

Exactly. I just did one, and after all the bolts finally held 70#, I walked away for a couple of hours, and when I came back, I gained a little more on each bolt.
